The Pirates of Penzance is a classic — and it’s challenging! This abridgment makes it more manageable for a high school cast, without losing any of its brilliance or hilarity. Notes have been added to help students understand some of the more archaic language and references.

Because this script is in public domain, we don’t charge it — or for the music we have available as modifiable MuseScore files, PDFs, accompaniment tracks and demo tracks (that part’s free just because we like you)!
