Curricula

We believe that the performance itself is only the tip of the iceberg. There is so much to get out of the rehearsal process itself (and so much to give in discussions after the show)! That’s why we provide holistic curricula for Christian high schools, church drama camps, homeschool drama groups, and more.

Each curriculum is specific to the show and integrates Bible study on the themes of the show with scene work, actor training, and team building to give your group the richest experience possible.

Need help beyond what you’ve got in the curriculum? The first two hours of consulting are free for any group using our materials!

If you would like a curriculum for one of our shows and it’s not yet listed here, please contact us – we love adding new curricula and your request will move it up in the queue!

Alice in Wonderland

In a world that’s topsy-turvy, what does it mean to belong (and do we want to)?

This curriculum is meant to accompany the Charlotte Chorpenning adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, available through Dramatic Publishing.

In a culture that’s frequently absurd, how do we keep our heads? How do we still interact lovingly and respectfully when we disagree or don’t understand – or when we’ve fallen down a rabbit hole and are out of sorts? What do we do with feelings of being “out of place”?

The Diary of Perpetua

Even the most ordinary lamp is still a lamp . . .

What does it mean to give our lives fully to Jesus? Why is Jesus worth it? And what can we learn from the millions today whose discipleship often means difficulty, danger, and even death? Wrestle through the questions and experience the beauty of the God who empowers ordinary people to shine in extraordinary ways.

Ella Enchanted

Is it still obedience if it’s not a choice?

This curriculum is meant to accompany Amelia Smith’s adaptation of the classic YA novel. Fun, creative, and engaging, this story is also full of compelling metaphors of redemption and raises important questions about free will, love, and true obedience. These themes are such a joy to discuss with a young cast, and help youth connect with Christ in ways they might not ordinarily encounter him.

The Hiding Place

What does God ask of us in the darkest of places – and is what He asks possible?

This curriculum is meant to accompany Bradley Winkler’s adaptation of Corrie ten Boom’s true story. (To license this script, contact Bradley Winkler, below…) Full of questions about good and evil, forgiveness, civil disobedience, redemption, and more, this is a story well worth unpacking together.

The Velveteen Rabbit

Sometimes it hurts being made real.

What does it mean to be “real” – to be fully human as God meant us to be? How do we get there? Is it worth it? And what does it mean when the Storyteller enters our story? Dig deep into the sometimes funny, sometimes haunting, often surprising themes in
The Velveteen Rabbit with our Bible-based actor curriculum.
